This group ranges from 2-year-olds all the way up to broken mouth, with the bulk of them being solid 8 and 9-year-olds, made up of black and black baldies with a handful of Red Angus mixed in. They’re not perfectly matched as some are smaller framed and some bigger, but they’re a nice, functional set of cows that will go out and do a job. Bred to both black and red bulls, they’re set to calve May 1st through June 30th and carry a gentle disposition, making them easy to be around. You can sort 40 head out of a bigger offering, and these home raised, year branded, tattooed cows have been well kept and still carry plenty of quality, flesh, and look. They are 10 to 12 years old, made up of short solid to broken mouth cows, with the 10 year olds carrying white tags and the older cows having no tags. They are averaging right around 1350 to 1400 lbs, gentle, and located in Montana.
