There are 156 head weighing between 725 and 750 lbs, predominantly Black Angus and Black Baldies with just nine reds and red baldies mixed in. These are home-raised replacements with a gentle disposition and the kind of cattle you can turn out and expect to do well for a long time. They’ve had two rounds of modified live vaccines along with pinkeye shots and have been managed right from the start. It’s not every day you find a big jug of home-raised replacement heifers this uniform and ready to go.

IF YOU’RE WANTING a big, handpicked set of replacement heifers, take a look at this group of 115 head weighing 650 to 725 lbs. These girls were sorted and handpicked out of 245 head, and it shows in how even and consistent they are. They’re all one iron with an average disposition, with only a small handful of baldies in the mix, around 15 head. They’ve had Vision 7 and Cleanup, and they’re just a really nice set of replacements that are ready to go to work.
