LOOKING FOR VALUE? Here’s a good solid load of 45 fall bred cows that are carrying a really attractive price tag. This is a mixed set made up of Black Angus, Red Angus, Black Baldies, Red Baldies, and Hereford influence cows. The majority are 6-year-olds to solid mouth cows with just a few broken mouths in the group, averaging right around 1,350 to 1,450 lbs. These cows were originally purchased as opens, but when they were preg checked they came up bred, creating an opportunity for someone to buy bred cows at a discount compared to today’s market. They’ll be calving from September 1st through November 30th, making them a nice set of fall calvers. The breeding dates and bull information are unknown, and these are not home raised cattle, but if you’re looking for a set of honest cows carrying a calf without paying top dollar, it’s worth taking a hard look at this group. They have an average disposition and are ready to go to work for the next owner.
