Very gentle older cows with plenty of quality and some real value—40 head of Black and Black Baldy bred cows with a couple Reds, weighing around 1,250–1,300 lbs. These girls are broken mouth to short term, with the blemishes already sorted off, leaving the nice end of the group. Every one raised and weaned a calf, and they’re bred to Red Angus bulls to calve March 1–April 20. Good, honest cows that know their job and have what it takes to raise a solid calf.
