Here’s a big fancy set of 3-year-old Red and Red Baldy pairs that’ll catch anyone’s eye and fit into any serious cowman’s program. There are 24 head weighing 1200 to 1250 pounds, bull bred to powerful Black bulls out of Bowman and Brooks Angus. These girls are the kind you want in your herd—gentle, easy to work, and doing a heck of a job raising calves. About 90 percent calved in March with the rest in April, and the calves are already showing it. They’re big, stout, healthy, and tagged to match their mamas. Worked on April 17, calves have had Pyramid 5, Bar Vac C&B, and Endo Vac Beef, and the bull calves have been knife cut. The cows were poured in February and are currently out on some good green grass that’s putting pounds on every day. These are real ranch-raised momma cows with exceptional calves at side and a calm disposition that makes them easy to handle.
