We’ve got 48 head of Black and Baldy heifer pairs weighing in around 950 pounds, with calves on the ground and more coming soon. One load is ready to ship today and the second will follow in a couple of weeks once the last 7 calve out. These heifers started calving April 15 and will be wrapped up in the next 9 days. Calves are healthy, tagged to match their mothers, and will be a stout, uniform set come fall. These girls are bull bred to Jorgensen bulls and built to gain weight and work in any program. Heifers have been poured and had their Virashield 6 VL5, and they’re doing a great job with their calves. This is a solid set with quality from top to bottom.
