125 head left of short-term cow pairs and breds that give a buyer some options. These cows are weighing right around 1,400 lbs and are made up of mostly black cattle with a mix of Black Angus, Red Angus, Black Baldy, Red Baldy, and a few Herefords. They calved from April 1st through June 15th, the pairs are tagged to match, and the new calves have had MultiMin. These cows are bred back mostly to black bulls, with a few bred red, and have been poured and given Virashield, Scour Bos 9, and Safeguard. They carry an average disposition and are not home raised, but they are a good solid working set of short term cattle. You can buy the bred cows for $3,800 or step up and take the pairs for $4,300, this is a real chance to get your hands on a big package with calves on the ground or if calving is your deal there is room for some good money to be made!
Good fall cows here. This is a pretty solid set of 61 bred cows, all 3 to 6 years old and averaging right around 1,150 lbs. There are 17 three-year-olds, 18 four-year-olds, 15 five-year-olds, and 11 six-year-olds, with 15 head being home raised and 46 head purchased cows that have been put together and rebred into a fall program. They are bred to Diamond D Angus bulls and will start calving September 18th and wrap up by November 2nd. These cows have had 5-way, 8-way, and pinkeye, and they look like a good, practical group of young to middle-aged cows with a lot of productive years ahead of them. A nice opportunity for someone wanting to add fall calving cows that are already lined out and ready to go to work.
THESE REDS LOOK GOOD, here’s a really good set of 60 Red Angus bred cows weighing right around 1,250 lbs, with 10 Black cows available additional if a buyer wants them. These girls are 3 to 6 years old, with 43 head being 3-year-olds, so the group is heavily stacked with young cows that have plenty of life ahead of them. They’re fall calvers, bred back to red bulls, and set to calve from August 27th through October 21st. Some are home-raised, but they come together as a great quality set of red cows in excellent condition, just how you want a good group of reds to look. They’ve had CattleMaster Gold FP 5, they’re bred red to red, and they’re priced right for the quality. If fall breds are your deal, this is a strong group to look at, and the price will talk you into the deal!
